So that we are not the only recipients of help, we also learn to be generous and share with others. Every Thursday we collect coins and small donations. We all participate, from the girls to the teaching team. When we collect enough money, we buy some food, towels, blankets, clothes, bedding and distribute them to the homeless at the railway stations. We encourage the girls to make contact with the homeless, to talk to them, to ask them about their life stories. And it is this personal approach that really enriches them, because they really feel that the homeless are individuals with their own special experience and not just faceless people who are too often ignored.
