Teach for India, Kolkata invited us to their very firts Film Festival featuring to films: Ready, Steady and Conference of the Birds. Ready Steady is a high school drama about ten teenagers who come from low-income backgrounds but have managed to get admission to an elite high school in a posh part of Delhi. Our elder students enjoyed the stories of this teenagers that were in many ways relatable to their own experiences. Before the show we also visited a nearby Dhakuria lake.
