We were delighted to host three speech therapy students from Slovenia – Anastasia, Anja, and Gaja – who spent a few enriching weeks with us. They actively supported our teaching, organized creative workshops and even a treasure hunt, and beautifully painted one of our school walls.
Our girls welcomed them with open arms, dressing them in colourful saris, decorating their hands with mehendi, and taking them on a village visit. The three students enthusiastically tried various Indian dishes, learned a few Bengali words, and even discovered the secrets of cooking with Indian spices.
It was a heartwarming experience of sharing, learning, and building friendships across cultures. Thank you, Anastasia, Anja, and Gaja – you are always welcome here!
