We’ve again received a visit from young volunteers of the POTA programme (an international volunteer programme organized by Slovenia’s Youth Information Centre.) We’re very impressed by the genuine wish of these young people to assist with different types of projects. Preparations for these projects sometimes last several months and include social and arts workshops. While the volunteers work together in workshops and activities, they also collect money across different parishes to assist the poor. Visiting the places they help is the culmination of long awaited excitement and preparation. This time, our Mojcas transformed the school hall into a true centre of rainbows and on the last Thursday of their visit, all of the volunteers prepared creative workshops for our students.
